GREENWOOD, Ind.  The College Sports Communicators organization released its 2025-26 Academic All–District Men's Track & Field/Cross Country teams on Tuesday, with Methodist University's Tydrick Stewart earning recognition on the NCAA Division III squad.

The honor marks the second consecutive year Stewart has been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, further highlighting his success both on the track and in the classroom.

A rising senior from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Stewart was once again one of the top sprinters for Methodist this year. Last month, he earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in both the 100-meter dash and the 4x100-meter relay after finishing among the top eight performers in the South Region. Stewart also posted the Monarchs' fastest 200-meter time of the season, clocking a personal-best 21.60 seconds at the Dani Palooza Last Chance Meet.
 
The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student–athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's and women's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
