LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â 14 Monarchs out of 8,852 collegiate student-athletes nationally have achieved 2025-26 NFCA/Easton Scholar-Athlete All-America recognition as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) offices Thursday afternoon.

In order to qualify for this honor in softball, student-athletes must meet the minimum academic standard set forth by the NFCA, earning a 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 scale for the academic year. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,637 student-athletes achieving this recognition on the field and in the classroom, followed by NCAA Division III with 2,493 students-athletes honored. 74 student athletes from the USA South Athletic Conference would be nationally recognized for this award.
