High School: played three years of football, started two at Dutch Fork ... member of the track and field team for two years ... two-time all-conference, all-region, and all-state (honorable mention) selection ... back-to-back state champion ... named to the all-conference academic team twice ... coached by Tom Knotts.

Personal: son of Jonathan Hoover ... majoring in elementary education, with a minor in psychology.
