2016: Started all nine games along the offensive line ... helped the Monarchs average 187.3 yards per game on the ground with a better than 4.0 yard per carry average. 

2015: Saw action in eight games ... helped pave the way for a rushing offense that averaged 145.5 yards per game on the ground and 223.0 yards in the air ... Monarchs averaged 3.3 yards per rush and allowed 24 sacks.

2014: Did not see any action.

High School: Played four years of football at Swain County ... also played three years of baseball ... was a two-time all-conference pick in football and was the team's lineman of the year his junior year.

Personal: Criminal justice major ... sone of Lance Gunter and Jilinda Beck.
