Methodist University Athletics

Adam Plageman joined the Methodist University coaching staff in January of 2022 as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Prior to joining MU, Plageman spent all of 2021 in the same role at Minnesota State Community and Technical College helping the Spartans to their first conference championship appearance since 2001.

One of Plageman previous positions was an internship at the University of Iowa with the football strength and conditioning staff.  He was also an assistant strength coach with Mayville State University, Yutan Sports Academy, and Yutan High School (NE).

He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coaching Certification. 

He completed his undergraduate studies at Northern State University and then graduated from West Virginia University with a Master’s in Sport Coaching.
