Andrew Christie

Andrew Christie is entering his fourth year on the Monarchs’ staff in 2015. He will be charged with coaching the defensive line as well as serving the program’s strength and conditioning coordinator.

Under Christie’s tutelage the defensive line has had five players selected to the USA South All-Conference Team in his 3 years at Methodist. Christie also guided one defensive lineman to all-region honors.

Christie is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

A 2011 graduate of LaGrange College, Christie earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. A three-year starter on the defensive line, he was a member of LaGrange’s 2008 squad that went 9-2, and qualified for the NCAA Division III playoffs. He capped his playing career in 2010 when he was selected to Team Stars and Stripes. He represented the United States in the Tazon De Estrellas, held in Toluca, Mexico.

Christie and his wife Kristen currently reside in Fayetteville
