Bre’nard Williams enters 2017 in his first season with Methodist and will coach the safeties.
Williams started his coaching career at Thomasville High School coaching the linebackers in 2016, helping the team land a playoff berth for the first time in three seasons.
In 2015, Williams signed a professional contract with the Colorado Crush of the Indoor Football League.
Williams was a two-time All-American linebacker and earned three all-conference selections while at Clark Atlanta. He still stands in the program's record books in numerous defensive statistics.
He is a 2011 graduate of Tift County High School in Georgia.
