Drew Reger joined the Methodist football staff prior to the 2024 season, entering his second season with the program as the Strength and Conditioning coach.
While also coordinating and running his S&C program, Reger also assisted with the Tight End group in 2024. In 2025, he'll be working with the Safeties.
Prior to MU, Reger coached at Louisiana Christian University, where he was the assistant defensive backs coach/assistant strength coach. He primarily worked with the safeties, and in 2022, the team's defense was ranked 13th in the nation in total yards allowed. In that year, his safeties room accounted for four interceptions, three fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, and 96 total tackles. Additionally, safety D'Mario Weathersby was named a Sooner Athletic Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference player.
Before making the jump to the college scene, Reger coached high school football at several Florida schools. From 2017-20, he was at Miramar High School and was a part of a staff that won three District Championships. He also helped bring a District Championship to McArthur High School in 2016.
After graduating from high school, Reger enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, spending seven years at the 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company. Toward the end of his military time, he obtained his bachelor's in business administration at Strayer University.
