Grady Bing

Coach Grady Bing is entering his first year coaching for Methodist University. Coach Bing will be working with the JV linebackers. Bing comes to the Monarch staff after spending the last year and a half at the University of Richmond. During his time at Richmond, he was a defensive graduate assistant, assisting primarily with the defensive line.

Collegiately, Bing played at Hampden-Sydney College from 2009-11. During his time there, the Tigers won the Old Dominion Athletic Conference twice, and made the NCAA Division III playoffs all three years.  Prior to his playing career, Bing volunteered at his alma mater, Mills E. Godwin High School, in Richmond, Va., where he worked with the defensive side of the ball on game days.

Bing graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in the fall of 2012, with a bachelor's degree in English. Coach Bing is the son of Andy and Barbara Bing.
