Jerome Lewis

Jerome Lewis enters the 2017 season as his first year with Methodist working with the tight ends and half backs.

Prior to Methodist, Lewis played the 2016 season with the Billings Wolves helping them to their first Indoor Football League playoff berth.

Lewis started his college playing career in 2010 with Virginia Tech, where he was a member of the 2010 ACC Championship team. He later finished his college career at Akron helping rebuild the Zips football program.

In high school, Lewis was member of the SuperPrep Northeast Team and was listed as the No. 21 tight end in the country and the No. 3 player in the state of New York by Rivals and Scout.com. He was also named to the PrepStar’s All-Big East Team as a defensive lineman before earning a 2009 SuperPrep Preseason All-America nod. Lewis was also invited to play as a tight end in the 2010 Offense-Defense All-American Bowl, which was played in Myrtle Beach.
