Luke Gogerty is entering his sixth season with the Monarchs.
In back-to-back seasons, and his first two seasons with Methodist, he had the pleasure of coaching two All-Conference and All-Region linebackers in Navarhri Holden (2013) and Bryan Bing (2014).
By his third season in 2015, he was elevated to Co-Defensive Coordinator, in which he saw Bryan Bing to All-American honors. He also helped bring success to a Methodist defense, lowering each major statistic in the run/pass-game.
Shortly after, Gogerty was switched to the Offensive Line for Methodist U to bring about the same mentality he had brought to the defense. He is entering his second season with the offensive line (“Hogs”) and looks to see major improvements with his Hogs.
Gogerty has also served as the Recruiting Coordinator for Methodist football, and has helped change the culture around the Green & Gold.
A native of Fort Myers, Florida, Gogerty earned his bachelor’s degree from John Carroll (Ohio) University.
