2021: appeared in all nine games for the Monarchs ... recorded 23 total tackles (17 solo stops & six assisted stops) ... led the team with eight tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks, including a career-high 2.5 tackles for a loss and a 2.5 sacks at Maryville … added one quarterback hurry and a forced fumble.

2018: appeared in nine games ... finished the season with 26 total tackles, including 20 solo stops ... third on the team in tackles for a loss with four ... led the team in sacks with two ... had a season-high eight total tackles against Maryville (Tenn.).

High School: Four-year starter on the football team at Stephen Decatur ... also part of the track & field, baseball and basketball teams

Personal: Son of Rebekah James ... majoring in social work … also a member of the Methodist track & field team.
