Biography

2022:  Appeared in all 17 games (one of seven Monarchs to do so) with 16 starts. He played a season-high 110 minutes in the double-overtime victory versus Southern Virginia University in the first round of the USA South Tournament. MU Scholar-Athlete.

2021: Appeared in all 15 games as a senior (one of 12 to do so), with 10 starts… scored one goal for the season in the 23rd minute of the game against Berry college… senior team captain… awarded to the senior scholar-athlete honors … awarded the Steve Little Men's Soccer Award.

2020-21: Started all seven games this season ... one of five Monarchs to do so.

2019: Appeared in all 16 games, starting 15 ... registered lone shot on goal against Covenant.

2018: Appeared in 16 games as a freshman, starting one ... earned his first collegiate goal against Averett.

High School: Four year letterwinner in soccer ... named honorable mention twice ... won the state championship in 2016 and was runner-up in 2017-18 ... a two time All-Conference selection ... made the All-Region team as a senior captain ... member of the National Honor Society, DECA , FCA clubs.

Personal: Son of Kristen and Larry Magen ... grandfather Bob Thompson played lacrosse at Lehigh University … cousin Andrew Sommer played football at Amherst College … cousin Tim Sommer played lacrosse at Hamilton College … Daniel graduated in 2021 with a degree in business administration and a minor in sports management, he is currently working on his Master's in business administration at MU.
