LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Lynchburg Hornets took a 2-0 halftime lead and extended it to a 5-0 win over the Methodist women's soccer team Sunday.
The Hornets scored their first goal in the 17th minute of play to take the lead. Joannie Snyder scored Lynchburg's second goal in the 31st minute to give the Hornets the 2-0 advantage at the break. Lynchburg added three goals in the second half including two from Snyder to complete her hat trick.
Junior
Kasey Nichols made six saves while sophomore
Sara Altman added eight.
The Methodist women will host Meredith on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
