Box Score ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - The Methodist men's soccer team battled N.C. Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon, but the Bishops notched two goals to earn the 2-0 win over the Monarchs.
N.C. Wesleyan scored the first goal in the 38th minute on a shot from 20 yards out. The Bishops held the 1-0 lead at halftime, but the Methodist offense really started knocking on the door during the second half. They out shot N.C. Wesleyan 7-6, but the Bishops tallied their second goal on a header in the 87th minute to secure the 2-0 win.

Kyle Beach made five saves for the Monarchs while Benjamin Kruk had four stops for the Bishops.
The Monarchs will travel to Shenandoah this weekend for the final regular season game on Saturday at 11 am.
