Men's Soccer Earns Shut Out Over Greensboro

Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Methodist men's soccer team used four second half goals to cruise to the 5-0 USA South win over Greensboro College on Wednesday.

Methodist freshman Eric McGinnis put the Monarchs on the board in the 18th minute with a goal off of a Pride turnover. The Monarchs held the 1-0 lead at halftime.

Stan Pajak scored the second goal in the 57th minute before McGinnis scored his second and third goals in the 67th and 68th minute. Alex Ray and Stephen Fox notched assists for McGinnis.

Graham Vestal finished the scoring with the Monarchs' fifth goal in the 82nd minute.

Kyle Beach and Patrick Hamel combined for the shutout with Beach making two saves.

The Monarchs will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Ferrum for the final regular season game.
