Box Score MARTINSVILLE, Va. - The Methodist men's soccer team was hoping to avenge an earlier loss to the N.C. Wesleyan Battling Bishops on Friday, but fell 3-0 in the USA South Tournament Semifinal.

The Bishops scored three quick goals in the first 30 minutes of the game. Methodist continued to battle and out shot N.C. Wesleyan 7-5 in the second half, but could not finish the scoring opportunities.

Kyle Beach and Pat Hamel finished with two saves a piece for the Monarchs.

The team finishes 11-9 this season. N.C. Wesleyan advances to the championship on Saturday.
