Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Methodist University and Emory University battled scoreless for nearly 40 minutes, but the Eagles notched two quick goals before halftime and finished with the 7-0 win.

Eric McGinnis had an opportunity midway through the first half after
Pat VanCura passed the ball over the defense, but Trenton Spindler made the save for the Eagles. Emory's Andrew Natalino scored the first goal of the game in the 40th minute off of a corner kick and Ben Dhiman scored the second after Methodist goalkeeper
Kyle Beach made a save.
The Eagles came back with five unanswered goals in the second half to earn the 7-0 victory. Spindler and Aram Keteyian combined for the shutout with four saves.
Beach and
Patrick Hamel finished with seven saves for Methodist.
The Monarchs will be back to host Marietta College on Sunday at 12 p.m.
