FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Shenandoah struck first, but the Methodist women's soccer team earned a tie with a goal in the 86th minute of play.
Methodist (6-1-1, 0-0-1) narrowly edged the Hornets (3-2-3, 0-0-1) 5-4 in shots during the first half, but Shenandoah came out firing in the second half and split the defense to score a goal in the 47th minute of play.
