FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Methodist women's tennis team kept up their winning ways on Tuesday with a speedy 9-0 win over Peace College.
The Pacers faced off with just four players, giving the Monarchs default wins at five and six singles along with three doubles.
Methodist did not give up a game for the second time this season as
Kaitlin Flaherty and
Katherine Meindl won at number one doubles and
Dana Powell and
Rachel Purser won at number two. Flaherty, Meindl, Purser and Powell each won their singles match 6-0, 6-0 to preserve the shutout.
The Monarchs will be back in action on Sunday when they take on Huntingdon College in Winston-Salem, N.C.
