BURLINGTON, N.C. - Jordan Zachmeyer singled and came around to score the winning run on a sac fly by Ashley Green, as the No. 6 Meredith Avenging Angels edged the No. 3 Methodist Monarchs, 6-5 in 10 innings in the first game for both schools in the USA South tournament.

It capped a big game for Green, who had four hits and two RBIs.  She singled in the fifth inning and came around to score on a two-run triple by Emily Cooke, which game the Angels a 3-1 lead.
