Box Score MARIETTA, Ohio – The Methodist men's soccer team got off to a strong start in 2012 with a 4-0 win over The College of Wooster on Saturday afternoon on day one of the Marietta College Classic.
 
Four different Monarchs found the back of the net as sophomores Chris Ryan, Eirik Nordseth and Nahom Hargwoin tallied, as did junior Eric McGinnis. With 14 minutes remaining and MU leading 3-0, the game was delayed due to lightning. Following the stoppage, the Monarchs added their fourth and final tally of the contest in posting the shutout win.

The Monarchs return to the pitch on Sunday as they take on host Marietta at 12:00 pm.
