MARYVILLE, Tenn. -- Methodist's women's tennis team upped its win streak to seven with an 8-1 win at Maryville College on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Monarchs, who moved to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the USA South, won all three doubles matches, before taking five of the six singles matches. Four of MU's singles' wins came in straight sets, including Kat Meindl's 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 and Laura Baker's 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2.
 
The Monarchs are back in action on Wednesday when they host Greensboro at 3:30 pm.
