FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist women's tennis team won its eighth straight match with a near-perfect 9-0 win over Greensboro on Wednesday.
The Monarchs dropped a sole game the entire day in winning all three doubles matches, 8-0, and 5-of-6 singles matches, 6-0, 6-0. With the win, Methodist improves to 9-2 on the season and 5-0 in USA South play. Greensboro is now 3-3 on the year and 3-1 in league play.
The Monarchs are in action this Saturday when they play at Meredith beginning at 1:00 pm.
