FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist women's tennis team ran its conference record to 7-0 with its 11th straight wins, a 9-0 shutout of Piedmont on Friday afternoon.
 
Methodist is now 12-2 overall on the season, while Piedmont slips to 6-6 overall and 6-2 in league play.
 
The Monarchs are back in action tomorrow when they host LaGrange at 10:30 am.
