Box Score GALLOWAY, N.J. – The MU men's soccer team played to a scoreless tie against William Paterson on Friday evening in a neutral site matchup as part of this year's Stockton Seashore Classic.
 
The Monarchs (1-1-1) finished the night behind in terms of shots (13-18) and shots on goal (5-8), but stayed in the game with the Pioneers (2-0-1).
 
Methodist goalkeeper Nick Martens (1-1-1) made eight saves overall, including six after the first half. William Patterson's Mike Diacheysn (1-0-1) had five saves.
 
MU will conclude its stay in the Garden State with a Saturday game against host Richard Stockton at 5:30 pm.
