RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Methodist volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at William Peace on Wednesday evening.

Methodist (13-14, 8-6 USA South) fell 25-22, 25-17, 25-22 match to the Pacers (11-18, 8-6 USA South). William Peace held MU to a .070 hitting percentage to the match and posted nine blocks to two for the Monarchs.

Cassidy Hayes led Methodist with 12 kills on the evening.
Ryann Appleby and
Taylar Stafford each had for kills.
Maggie Harris notched 23 assists, and
Karly Klimas aided the offense with a pair of service aces. On the defensive end, Klimas led the way with 17 digs, and Harris chipped in 11.
Chyenne Pump totaled 10 digs and added a block as well.

For William Peace, Megan Mansfield totaled 18 kills, while Tempestt Frazier added 11. Baylee Maughon led the team with 38 assists, and Mansfield led a strong service games with six service aces. Carson Williams had 19 digs to lead the Pacers, and Connor Davis added 11. Frazier contributed five total blocks at the net.

The Monarchs are on the road this weekend at Covenant where they will play Maryville at 12:00 pm, followed by a 4:00 pm match against the host Scots.
