MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Methodist men's soccer team won its sixth consecutive game on Sunday afternoon, defeating USA South Conference foe Huntingdon 4-0 on the Hawks' home turf.

Methodist extended its lead to 2-0 in the 39th minute as Trevor Hendricks capitalized off a feed from Nahom Hargwoin, registering his first goal of the season.

It appeared that would be the score heading into the break until Sean MacDonald netted an unassisted ball with just three seconds remaining in the first period, putting the Monarchs at a 3-0 advantage.

The second half remained at 3-0 until the 78th minute when was Stefan Cyvin found himself on the end of a pass from Remington Christman, and fired a shot past HC's replacement goalkeeper Eathan Small, marking the fourth and final goal of the match.

Alex Rabone, who earned his 10th shutout, took the win after making one save. HC's Brown will be handed the loss, despite making three saves on the day in the first 45 minutes of play. Small replaced Brown at the start of the second half, allowing one goal while making two saves.
