RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Methodist tennis won at William Peace, 9-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Monarchs (14-2) dropped a grand total of six games all afternoon against the Pacers (3-7).
 
Laura Baker defeated Zoe Littmann at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and teamed up with Isabella Graf to defeat Littmann and Kristen Edwards at No. 1 doubles, 8-0. Sam Munze topped Brooke Campbell at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and paired with Abigail Randolph to best Abigail Nails and Alexandra Dixon at No. 2 doubles, 8-1.
 
Hillary Petruska won against Joy Davies at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and joined Stephanie Hunter to win against Campbell and Rachael Peoples at No. 3 doubles, 8-1.
 
Up next for Methodist is a match at Averett tomorrow afternoon. The action is set to begin at 4:45 pm in Danville, Va.
