FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Methodist women's tennis team cruised to its seventh straight victory as it won, 9-0, versus Piedmont on Saturday afternoon.
The Monarchs (7-1) emerged victorious over the visiting Lions (3-2) and did not lose a single set during the action.
Laura Baker won 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1 singles, and teamed up with
Isabella Graf to claim a victory in No. 1singles, 8-0.
Methodist will return to the courts on Wednesday to match up with N.C. Wesleyan. The action is scheduled to start at 3:00 pm in Rocky Mount, N.C.
