FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Head coach Francie Barragan registered her 200th win as the Methodist women's tennis team cruised past Huntingdon, 9-0, on Sunday at the Gene Clayton Tennis Center. With the win, Methodist now holds a 15-5 overall record, and a 11-1 conference record. Huntingdon falls to 11-3 and 9-3.
 
In doubles play, Isabella Graf and Sam Munze topped Hannah Still and Sarah Warren, 8-0 at No. 1, and at No. 2, Vatrice Williams and Abigail Randolph blanked Sandy Mayson and Caroline McBroom, 8-0. In the third matchup, Davi Barbour and Stephanie Hunter teamed up to best Tare-Beth Hall and Octavia Pendleton, 8-3.
 
Singles play saw Graf defeat Still at No, 1, 6-0, 6-4, and at No. 2, Munze won, 6-1, 6-4, over Warren. In the third matchup, Randolph topped Mayson, 6-2, 6-2, and at No. 4 Barbour bested Sara Duran, 6-2, 6-3. Hunter edged Hall at No. 5, 6-3, 6-3, and at No. 6, Rile Zopp grabbed a 6-4, 6-0 victory over McBroom.
 
Methodist will travel to Rocky Mount, N.C. to compete in the USA South Conference Championships on Friday.
