FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Methodist women's tennis team blazed past Ferrum, 9-0, to win its seventh consecutive match and improve to 13-5 overall and 9-1 in conference. With the loss, Ferrum falls to 1-13 overall and 0-10 in conference play.
 
The Monarchs gained a 3-0 lead after doubles play, with Abigail Randolph and Davi Barbour teaming up to defeat Ashley Foster and Kisainya Miller, 8-0, at No. 1 and at No. 2 Audrey Greeson and Raya Alher won, 8-2, over Raquel Ramseur and Hannah Blake. Morgan Mann and Vatrice Williams won by default in the third doubles match.
 
In singles competition, Methodist blanked Ferrum in every matchup. Isabella Graf bested Foster at No. 1 and Sam Munze won over Ramseur at No. 2. In the third singles matchup Stephanie Hunter defeated Kisainya Miller and at No. 4 Williams topped Blake. At No. 5, Linsey Gabris overpowered Xena Gruzman and Mann won by default at No. 6.
 
The Monarchs are back in action on Saturday as they host LaGrange at 11:00 a.m.
