FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist volleyball team dropped a hard-fought match, 3-0, to Ferrum on Saturday evening at the Riddle Center.

Ferrum eked out the 25-22, 30-28, 26-24 win to move to 13-17 on the season and even its record at 7-7 in the league. Methodist now stands at 7-20 overall and 3-9 in league play.

Brittany Ter Meer led the Monarchs with 13 kills while hitting .370 for the match. She also added four total blocks.
Cassidy Hayes added nine kills and
Chyenne Pump chipped in seven kills.
Maggie Harris had 31 assists and 10 digs for a double-double, and
Annabelle Ronelli led MU with 17 digs. Pump added 11 digs.

Hannah Helbert led the Panthers with 13 kills and Cheyenne Strickland totaled eight to go with 15 digs and 31 assists. Sarah Hendrix had 22 digs, Jessica Turner added 12 and Hanna Savedge chipped in 10.

Methodist is back in action on Tuesday when it plays host to Averett at 7:00 pm.
