RALEIGH, N.C. -- Methodist was swept by Meredith, 3-0, in a USA South Conference volleyball match Wednesday night at Weatherspoon Gym.

MU fell to 7-16 on the season (3-6 USA South) with the 25-20, 25-11, 25-23 loss. The Avenging Angels improved to 17-2 overall and remain perfect in league play at 9-0.

Methodist, which hit .057 on the evening, was led by
Cassidy Hayes' 11 kills. She hit .375 for the match and ranks second in the conference with a hitting percentage of .331 on 679 attacks.

Maggie Harris totaled 21 assist to go with seven digs.
Annabelle Ronelli led the Monarchs with 12 digs, and
Alyssa Coffey and
Chyenne Pump each had eight digs.

Karlie Long had 12 kills and Haley Reeg added 10 for Meredith which posted a hitting percentage of .252 for the match. Hannah Blaylock handed out 37 assists, and Keegan Lynch recorded 11 digs in the win.
