FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over conference for Maryville on Friday afternoon.
 
The Monarchs (10-2, 5-0) had little trouble in doubles, taking a 3-0 lead as the Monarchs dropped just one game combined over the three matches.
 
Isabella Graf, playing at the No. 1 flight, had the closest singles win, coming from behind to defeat Maddy Little, 3-6, 6-1, 11-9. Jenna Landis, Ashton Walker, Davi Barbour all won in straight sets at Nos. 3, 4 and 5, respectively.
 
The Monarchs are back on the court on Saturday when they host Piedmont at 10:00 am.
