FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist women's tennis team made it 11-0 straight wins with a 9-0 win over Piedmont on Saturday afternoon at the Gene Clayton Courts.
 
The Monarchs improved to 11-2 on the season and 6-0 in the conference with the win, their third straight with a perfect 9-0 score. Piedmont fell to 5-7 overall and 4-3 in the league.
 
Three quick wins in double got MU out to an early 3-0 lead as Isaballa Graf and Sam Munze won 8-2, Han Lee and Jenna Landis posted an 8-1 win, and Davi Barbour and Riley Zopp also posted an 8-1 win.
 
Methodist continued to roll in singles, as Landis posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 and Munze clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 2.
 
The Monarchs return to play on Tuesday when they play at Averett beginning at 2:30 pm.
