FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to force a deciding fifth set before ultimately falling, 3-2, to St. Andrews on Wednesday evening at the March F. Riddle Center.

The Monarchs (6-12) fell 25-19, 23-25, 25-16, 16-25, 15-12 to the Knights (9-6).

Brittany Ter Meer paced the Green and Gold with 17 kills and hit .302, while
Cassidy Hayes added 14 kills. The duo combined for 31 of MU's 43 kills on the night.
Maggie Harris had 27 assists and 10 digs for a double-double, and
Alyssa Coffey had 12 digs.
Annabelle Ronelli led the Monarchs with 25 digs.

Kaitlyn Rush and
Autumn Elder each had three service aces, while Hayes and Ter Meer each came up with five blocks. Ter Meer had a pair of solo blocks.

For the Knights, Angelica Arroyo had a match-high 19 kills and Lindsey Wagner totaled 16 kills. Corey Altizer had a whopping 56 assists and added 10 digs. Soizic Rospart had 38 digs, while Sullivan Owens and Lily Allen each had 11 digs and Arroyo added 10. Kellie Price contributed eight blocks, and Andrea Navarro had five.
