Zvi Ferrari recorded a hat trick as the Methodist men's soccer team defeated Huntingdon, 5-0, on Senior Day at the Monarch Soccerplex on Saturday evening.
Prior to the contest, the team honored its senior class on the field.

The Monarchs (11-4-1, 7-2 USA South) scored in the 11th minute as Ferrari notched his first goal of the game, 1-0. At the 18:13 mark,
Gerry Madden gave MU a 2-0 lead after taking a pass from
Isaac Sanchez, which was the halftime score.

Ferrari scored back-to-back goals in the 51st and 67th minute, respectively as MU assumed a 4-0 lead.
Trevor Hendricks added the final tally at the 74:55 mark as the Monarchs held on for a 5-0 win.

Goalkeeper
Jonathan Moore started in goal and played the first half and made one save.
Josh Helms played the second half and did not face a shot. Tyler Medina made two saves in all 90 minutes.

MU outshot Huntingdon 19-1, while holding an edge in corner kicks 3-2.

Methodist is back in action tomorrow, Oct. 22, against LaGrange at the Monarch Soccerplex beginning at 2 pm.
