MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Methodist volleyball team picked up a 3-0 road win at Pfeiffer on Wednesday evening at Merner Gym.
 
The Monarchs improved to 7-7 on the season with a 25-10, 25-15, 25-5 sweep of the Falcons (1-9) on their home floor.
 
Methodist hit .323 as a team, making just seven attacking errors all night, and added 15 service aces, while holding the Falcons to a hitting percentage of .-185 with no service aces .
 
Cassidy Hayes and Ashley Beardsley led a balanced MU offense with seven kills apiece. Hayes hit. 700 for the match, while Beardsley hit .417. Brittany Ter Meer added six kills and also hit .417. Maggie Harris had 24 assists and four service aces.
 
Annabelle Ronelli led the defense with seven digs and added a team-best four service aces.
 
Erin Errington led the Falcons with five kills. Katie Ann Wilson had six assists, and Emma Gray Beacham added six digs.
 
The Monarchs are in action this Saturday at Mary Baldwin taking on the Fighting Squirrels at 10 am, followed by Greensboro at 12 pm.
