STAUNTON, Va. -- The Methodist volleyball team picked up a pair of conference wins at Mary Baldwin on Saturday afternoon. The Monarchs swept MBU, 3-0, and closed out play with a 3-1 win over Greensboro.

Methodist cruised past the Fighting Squirrels 25-3, 25-10, 25-5, hitting .433 for the match and holding MBU to a -.182 hitting percentage.
Cassidy Hayes hit .818 and led MU with nine kills.
Jasmine Tapscott added seven kills.
Brittany Ter Meer and
Megan Andrews each had five kills.
Maggie Harris had 12 assists and
Lili Henry added 11.

Defensively, MU was led by
Annabelle Ronelli's 16 digs, and Andrews and Harris added four apiece.

In the win over Greensboro, a 25-23, 25-11, 28-30, 25-23 victory, Hayes led the offense with 15 kills, Ter Meer added 13 and
Ashley Beardsley chipped in 11. Harris led the team with 37 assists.
Alyssa Coffey had three service aces. Andrews had 17 digs and Ronelli chipped in 15. Ter Meer had seven total blocks, including three solo efforts.

Methodist is back on the court on Wednesday against N.C. Wesleyan in the Riddle Center beginning at 7 pm.
