Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- The Methodist women's tennis team finished out its weekend with a 6-3 win over Salisbury on Sunday
 
With the win the Monarchs are 3-1 on the season, while the SeaGulls move to 1-1 overall.
 
In doubles, the team of Jenna Landis and Han Le defeated Jordan Schaefer and Sydney Soto, 9-7, at second singles, while Ashton Walker and Laura Brown dropped Taylor Cooper and Ariana Leggio 8-1.
 
Walker defeated Cooper at the third singles slot, 6-1, 7-6, while Brown moved by Soto 7-5, 6-3 at the fourth position. Riley Zopp earned a 6-3, 6-4 win over Scaefer, while Allison Himes finished the day with a 7-5, 6-3 win against Shannon Hickman.
 
Methodist returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 24, against Barton beginning at 10 am.
