- Methodist got off to a good start Saturday, taking a 6-5 lead over Greensboro in the opening set. However, the Pride reeled off seven consecutive points to take control of the set, eventually rolling to a 14-point game win.
- Midway through the second set, Methodist used a six-point run to forge a 12-11 lead, then led again as late as 21-19 before Greensboro would ignite another run, leading to a Pride set victory.
- Methodist was never able to rally from an early 4-1 deficit to the Pride in the deciding third set.
- Against William Peace, a 5-0 deficit at the beginning of the first set was a big hole to dig out of, but the Monarchs rallied to within two points, 23-21, late before the Pacers would steal the set.
- A five-point run from Methodist erased a 3-1 deficit early in the second set, and the Monarchs were able to hold onto their advantage until William Peace fought off four consecutive match points to inch in front, 25-24.
- A pair of Pacer attack errors pushed the Monarchs back in front, and a kill from Kaeli Ryan, off a Barga set assist, clinched the set for Methodist.
- A 1-0 lead was Methodist's only advantage in the third set, though they battled to tie the score on three separate occasions, and the Pacers were able to clinch the match in the deciding fourth set without trailing once.
- The duo of Lili Henry and Savannah Mullis continued to split the setter duties Saturday, as they have done so for most of the season. Both Henry and Mullis concluded the afternoon with 28 assists apiece across the two matches.
