BREVARD, N.C. Though the Monarchs score the first goal of the match, Methodist men's soccer team falls 2-1 to host Brevard College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Zeisman found himself in a one-on-one match with the Tornados keeper, after a Christopher Shoffler pass. Zeisman shot the ball past the keeper to find the back of the goal.
- Brevard scored the equalizer, in the 20th minute, off a miss handle. Vitor Braga took control before tapping it over Methodist's Cole Hupp.
- The eventual-game winner came in the 54th minute, when the Tornados crossed the ball into the box, but before it could find a Brevard player, a Monarch defender deflected the ball into the net.
NUMBERS
- The Tornados held a 15-7, including a 10-1 difference in the first half, shot advantage over Methodist.
- Truls Ballo, who scored the only goal in their last game, also had a shot on goal.

Methodist will travel to Salem, VA. next weekend to participate in the Roanoke Invitational. Their first game will be Friday at 5 p.m. against host school Roanoke College.
