HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Piedmont scored the first run during their first at bat after moving a runner from second base to home plate from a Monarch error. Methodist matched the Lions in runs in the top of the fourth from a single by Justin Blunt that sent Rob Wilkerson home from third after advancing from second off a wild pitch.
