- In Round 2, Methodist held on to the lead but only slightly by one stroke ahead of Guildford and Emory.
- Brewer and Campbell were steady visitors within the top 10 all day. Campbell's two-under opening round had him near the top, just one stroke ahead of Brewer.

- Along with Brewer, Campbell carded four birdies on the first 18, and four birdies on the second, but five bogeys would counter the birdies, giving him a one-over 72 to drop a few places from the top.
- Almost cracking the top 10 was Jonny Lewis (70-72-142, E) who finished the day tied for 12th. A solid performance in the opening round set him two-under after carding three birdies on the back nine.
