ROME, Ga.  After a team–best performance at the Chick–fil–A Invitational, Gavin June has been named the USA South Men's Golf Rookie of the Week.

While shooting +6 across three rounds, June helped the Methodist "B" team secure sixth place out of 19 teams competing in the two–day tournament. June was excellent on the first day, finishing round one at even par (72) and shooting just one stroke over par (73) in the second round. His final round of five strokes over par (77) secured him a top 10 finish, placing T-4 out of 98 golfers at the event.
