WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. Methodist men's and women's track & field teams were back at the Camel City Invitational for Day 2 of the event. Inside the JDL FastTrack complex, the Monarchs were able to put up some respective numbers.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Coming in seventh place for the men's 1,000-meter was Austin Ezzell, with a time of two minutes, 38.76 seconds. Also competing in the race was Will Gray (2:48.60) and Jackson Barriger (2:50.42). Both of them placed in the top-15, respectively 14 and 15.
- During the men's mile, Drew Topoly crossed with finish line following a time of 4:19.55, which was a couple of seconds shy of his own school record.
- On the women's side of things, Courtney Drumm ran her best 1,000m of this season by clocking a 3:21.24 for her time. She also participated in the women's mile where she ran a 5:48.99 (fourth best in her heat).
NEXT UP
Methodist is back in action next Saturday with a couple of different meets. While majority of the team will head Salem, Virginia, for the Joe LaRocco Invitational (hosted by Roanoke College), Topoly travels to Boston, Massachusetts, to run a couple of races at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational held on the campus of Boston University.
