HIGH POINT, N.C.  The Methodist men's track & field 4x100-meter relay team closed out its season with a near-record performance Sunday at the Dani Palooza Last Chance meet inside Vert Stadium.

TOP TRACK PERFORMANCE

• Competing against Division I program UMBC, the Monarch relay squad of Greg Cuthberston, David Dennis, Tydrick Stewart, and Logan Wade delivered its fastest time of the season in a thrilling finish.
• Methodist crossed the line in 40.82 seconds, finishing just .01 behind the Retrievers' winning mark of 40.81.
• The Monarchs' time also came within .01 of tying the program record, capping the season with one of the fastest relay performances in school history.
