HOW IT HAPPENED
- All Methodist golfers began on the back half of the course, on the second day of the event.
- Cracking the top-10, in a tie for 10th, on day two was Aiden Spampinato (73-69-142, -2). He shot a three-under par 69 with five birdies and two bogeys before moving up 14 places.
- Cooper Hrabak (73-71-144, E) was able to slide up three places to put him in a tie for 21st. He took two strokes off his first round score and registered a one-under par 71.
- Playing much better on the second day and moving from a tie in 96th to a tie in 44th overall was Jonny Lewis (78-69-147, +3). An eagle on hole seven along with four birdies to three bogeys led to him shooting a three-under par 69 for the round.
- Cameron Cappuzzo (73-76-149, +5) did not perform that bad with his four-over par 76 on his second go around. Majority of the field, which features eight of the top-10 teams in the nation, played better and resulted in Cappuzzo dropping in the leaderboards.
- Chase Walts (77-74-151, +7) shaved off three strokes from his last round total and tallied a two-over par 74.
