FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Competing in the Coed Stunt Group Division at the Christian Cheerleaders of America (CCA) Collegiate Championship, a group of four Methodist cheerleaders earned the title of CCA Coed Stunt Group National Champions on Saturday.

Taylor Culver,
Julian Goodman-Hernandez and
Emily Horne represented the Monarchs at the Crown Coliseum while teams from other schools – including Averett, Bethel, Concordia, Liberty, Louisburg, Southern Virginia, Shenandoah and Shepherd – competed across various divisions at the event.
"In the face of adversity, these remarkable athletes showed resilience and determination," said interim head cheerleading coach Angela Culver. "They overcame various hurdles, from sickness to injury, and pushed through to achieve victory in their competition. A testament to teamwork and devotion."
